Boasting 20 hectares of land on Mt. Kannon in the Takasaki city of Hanadaka, Kibo no Oka Farm grows many fruits and vegetables throughout the year.
In spring and summer, blueberries grown gently and carefully without the use of pesticides and more than a dozen varieties of cherries are in season. Autumn and Winter begin with the harvest of kiwifruit and peanuts, followed by shiitake mushrooms and taro from the time of frost.
